special recognition event in honor of former University of Minnesota
President Nils Hasselmo.
* Flickorna Fem is a member of the American Union of Swedish Singers and performed to much acclaim at its national convention in June of 2000 in Minneapolis. * The group performed in November 2000 on the Swedish Cultural Hour of the Minneapolis radio station, KFAI. * In August 2001 Flickorna Fem traveled to Sweden for the first time as a group. They performed at six occasions, including Tengene Church, Gränna Church, and Karl-Oskar Days in Växjö, Småland. |
